Julian - You need to set the offset first and then save the various 2m frequencies to memory. 73 -- David G4DMP Leeds, England, UK __ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
Re: [Elecraft] K3 Transverter offset
I plan to address this in a future release of firmware. Meanwhile, you'll need to set the offset first, then save the memories. tnx Wayne N6KR On Mar 12, 2009, at 3:17 PM, Julian, G4ILO wrote: > > Am I misunderstanding how the transverter offset is supposed to work? > I set > XV1 OFS to 0.20. [Elecraft] K3 Transverter offset
Am I misunderstanding how the transverter offset is supposed to work? I set XV1 OFS to 0.20. Now all my FM channels stored in memory are displaying the frequency with the offset added in, e.g. 145.500.20. I would have thought the idea was to add the offset to the frequency invisibly so the frequency displayed was the true frequency. - Julian, G4ILO.
