I'll try these diagnostic ideas when it happens...it is pretty intermittant.
Thanks for the ideas. I hadn't thought about the computer hookup.

You are not wrong. USB setting on the RS232 PARAMETER seems to be the cause.

I believe that the i/o needs to be in RS232, not usb for this. Easy enough to
