Make sure to have your old pots and pans ready. If the eclipse is lasting too long you can scare the dragon into spitting out the sun by banging on them loudly. We traveled to South Carolina to add in some family time. Drove from Beaufort to Columbia to Anderson (near Clemson). Some traffic around Columbia otherwise smooth sailing. We're our way up I-5 to Corvallis. There's *no* traffic, suggesting that all the gloomy predictions dissuaded some potential travelers. Corvallis webcams showed bright sunshine at 8 this morning.
