[Elecraft] Firmware change/feature

Not at present. We drop power and keep it there until the operator corrects the issue, then turns power back up. Wouldn't it be better to find out what's causing the power drop and fix it? You shouldn't be having power drops when transmitting at 8 watts. Tom, He was talking about the reduction in power to a 5 watt limit when the KX1 is switched to the internal batteries. Absolutely! Heat buildup due to protection devices that cycle can be very damaging, which exactly why you don't see self resetting circuit breakers in aircraft and very few in cars.
