Re: [Elecraft] K3 - Stand Alone Panadaptor
Here are a couple of quotes from this list archive dated December 2008: wondered if a dedicated Elecraft K3 panadaptor is still on the development schedule. Yes, definitely, unequivocally. (To use the vernacular: youbetcha :) I can't give you any timetable, and I can't reveal any details yet, but it will be highly integrated with the K3, and will look dynamite sitting next to it. We'll be using the more common spelling: panadapter. 73, Wayne N6KR I hope your panadaptor does not need a computer connection. It will work either way. 73, Wayne N6KR 73 to all Trevor G0KTN __ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html

Elecraft are keeping schtum about that, Trevor. My guess is that they are working on the panadapter and the KREF3-EXT external reference option ready for launching at Dayton ;-0 73 David G4DMP (schtum = British informal for secretively silent) In a recent message, Trevor Smithers tsmith...@cix.co.uk wrote ... Oh my... that would be glorious! I've been dying to have a standalone spectrum scope that is computer-independent for some time. 73, James KC2UEE -Original Message- From: elecraft-boun...@mailman.qth.net [mailto:elecraft-boun...@mailman.qth.net] On Behalf Of Iain MacDonnell - N6ML Sent: Monday, March 23, 2009 1:09 AM To: Joe Word Cc: elecraft@mailman.qth.net Subject: Re: [Elecraft] K3 - Stand Alone Panadaptor Joe Word wrote: Has anyone developed a stand alone Panadaptor without the need for a computer?
