I also have an SDR-IQ and have used it on my FTDX-5000MP and my K3's. I will
tell you one thing it in no way compares to the P3/SVGA nowhere close in
function or features with your Elecraft. In fact I'm now using my P3/SVGA on
one K3 and the other K3 the SDR-IQ next week I'm ordering another P3 my
SDR-IQ has been for sale for several weeks. A new one is $525 if that's what
you really think that's what you want I will sell you mine for $425 shipped
a 10/10 in appearance and function.

Subject: [Elecraft] Panadaptor Display alternative

Bob,
I have a K3 and do not have a P3 panadaptor system. What I do use is the RF
Space SDRIQ software defined receiver and Spectraview software. The sdriq
only needs to connect to your computer's USB connector and a small coax to
connect to the K3's IF out. The SDRIQ gets it's power from the computer's
USB port. You need a KXV3 or KXV3A module installed in your K3 to get your
IF out.

The SCRIQ receiver is about $500.00 but this enables you to use your normal
computer screen and mouse control. No need of a special sound card or the LP
Pan display adaptor. You can also use your SDRIQ receiver for a stand alone
200 HZ to 30 MHZ receiver.

Hi Fred

Please clarify for me: are you saying that you use the P3 to monitor say rx
A and the SVGA output to monitor rx B?
