Mike - Assuming your XV50 has the latest PA output module (RA30H0608M) you might like to consider modifying it for 4 metres in readiness for when the FCC allocates the 70MHz band in the USA. Thanks for sharing this, David. I don't know when or if we will ever get a 4M allocation in this country. But, I downloaded your write-up, just in case. I have an XV50 that languishes here. I'll have to pull the cover off and see which power module is in it.
