I have to disagree with you about RUMlog Joe. I use it for general logging all the time. It even has net control which is a boon for me. RUMped does the contesting stuff very well and I also use that but RUMlog is a terrific general purpose logger. I especially like being able to search my log while I am in the middle of logging another contact. Remember also that Wine is available and runs well on OSX I use both Win-Test and KComm on my iMac; both run perfectly with the K2 K3. SD runs also but can be quirky. KComm could probably be compiled to run directly on the Mac also as the source code is available, but I'm too scared to try it. 73 Ian G4FSU On Sep 29, 2010, at 8:44 AM, elecraft-requ...@mailman.qth.net wrote: Have recently aquired an Apple/Mac computer to use with my K3 setup.? Fldigi is available for Macs and has a built-in log which is somewhat rudimentary. I haven't tried, but suspect it wouldn't take a lot of work to get Xlog to run in OS X, along with hamlib to support a K2 or K3. Re: [Elecraft] Logging software for Mac
True, but RUmlog has much better integration with the K3. The K3 status panel and macro buttons have become features I miss when I only run MLDX. I also occasionally use RUMlog's access to FSK D. I do run MLDX at the same time because I like it's QRZ look up and general appearance.
