K2 is a GREAT radio. Yes, the SN is a sticker on the lower right side of the back panel. It is possible that the sticker is still in the box of stuff you got with the rig. Take a look. Also, look at the owner's manual to see if the SN was written in there. If not, contact Elecraft. Brian, If you know who the original buyer is, then retrieving the serial number should be easy. A note to [EMAIL PROTECTED] should do it. A new SN sticker can be purchased for only a couple dollars.
