Come on guys! If anyone is stupid enough to sniff paint and croaks because of
it,
too bad! High school kids are playing 'dope lab' with Angle's Trumpte flowers
in New
Orleans and some have died! Ditto for the dumb mindset of hazing and
overdrinking at
frat houses.
Let's get back to radio things.

It's often sprayed into a paper or plastic bag, which is then used to
breath from. The addicts can occasionally be identified if they get
paint on hands/faces.

Wow. That's a lot of email in a short time. You have to be at least 18
to buy spray paint in this state. I understand it is an ant-graffiti
measure. If it helps in that regard, then it is most welcome.

Paint sniffers? Spray paint? Those would be awfully stupid paint

I've seen news reports about some places locking up spray paint, it is

Ian;

There are two solutions to the problem. One is exact, the other is
awfully close. For touching up the K1/K2 etc. color, Elecraft sells
small amounts of the exact matching color. If, however, you are
building support boxes and want an awfully close match (but not exact),
Rustoleum Textured #7221 Dark Pewter spray paint comes awfully close. I
picked up a couple of cans at Home Depot for my projects. You have to
look really close to see a difference.

You'll find the paint behind locked gates, and be sure to bring your id
no matter what your age... (sigh - the joys of living in California...)
