Hi Vic; You can build a roll off filter with some caps and an inductor or two. Look at an old "ARRL Handbook" for this info. I use the KOSS PortaPro headphones. I found them to be lightweight and easy to drive with low audio. Also easy to collapse for that mountaintrip or camping. Very nice audio. Low cost quality , at least here in Norway. I sometimes plug my YH77ST headsets into my PC phones out, which is stereo, and put a music CD in the drive and listen to some great stereo music. I don't know about the 20Khz upper response but the "highs" and "lows" I hear are quite high fidelity. Certainly much broader than the 100-5000HZ. Icom has some light weight communications type head phones. Bernie, etal, Yaesu YH77STA headphones are lightweight and very comfortable. I have used them for many years at home as well as on DXpedition with a K2 working those gruelling 3 to 4-hour shifts of pileups. I don't wear them covering my ear but pushed slightly forward.
