Which problem? I guess it is a misconfiguration at your side. At http://rkd.republika.pl/frames.html there is comparison of koi8-r and utf-8. On Linux console they looks the same with koi8-r consolemap. Which codes differ for you? Press F9 - Setup - Character set Select KOI8-R BTW, Setup- Terminal options (I mean these) and save options after that. It must work. This does not help. Small correction to my bugreport: elinks display 'п ' (hex D020) instead of 'К' (hex D09A).
