It could be placed before or after the tags.
For export and printing I would still like this feature. :)

[Orgmode] add a whole directory as one item to refile targets

If I do "C-c C-w" (refile), I get the following:

In this buffer, type RET to select the completion near point.

 Possible completions are:
 done.org/ eraldo.org/ inbox.org/

WANTED:
 Possible completions are:

In other words...
I would like to have a whole directory as one item listed in my refile targets.

PS:
Another possibility would be to be able to refile to any other place
apart from the defined ones via prefix or shortcut.

[Orgmode] Very nice German intro to Org-mode

2009-10-04 Thread Carsten Dominik

For the German-speaking Org-moders:

In "Freies Magazin 10/2009" is a really very nice article about Org-
mode.

http://www.freiesmagazin.de/

ftp://ftp.freiesmagazin.de/2009/freiesMagazin-2009-10.pdf

I stumbled over it on Twitter where it showed up in my daily Org-mode
search. Made me aware of this magazine of which I had not
heard yet, and which seems to have excellent production value.

Among other things, I have never seen anything which is formatted to
perfectly for screen reading. A treat for the eyes and the brain.

I was talking about language specific documentation. I don't think every
language mode should be documented at [1]. That could become very big and
cumbersome to look through.

Yesterday I added a section called "Language specific documentation" under
http://orgmode.org/worg/org-contrib/babel/org-babel.php#reference-and-documentation

And have the header arguments linked from there to here (first example):
http://orgmode.org/worg/org-contrib/babel/org-babel-screen.php#header-arguments

There is currently a header-arguments [1] section to the Org-babel page
on worg. This is the place where this sort of documentation should be
added.

WRT the pp patch for emacs-lisp, I think it is an excellent addition and
in fact I think that it points to a more general need. Languages should
have the option of returning values as they would appear when written in
the language. That is how they would be printed in a source-code file.
This seems to be what your pp patch does for emacs-lisp. In fact such
output should be wrapped in a #+begin/end-src block for fontification of
the results on export.

Would you feel like attempting this change? If not I will add it to the
TODO section of the babel development file on worg.

Thanks! -- Eric
