[Orgmode] Bug in org-latex (6.34c)?

2010-01-23 Thread Sven Bretfeld
Hello fellows

org-latex-export sticks to the header \usepackage[utf8]{inputenc},
albeit this is customized to \usepackage[utf8x]{inputenc}.
 ^
I added the x in all customizable classes as well as my own classes. I
also tried to add (utf8 . utf8x) to org-export-latex-inputenc-alist.
No improvement. The resulting tex-file still lacks the x.

This was still working in 6.33.

Greetings,

Sven

[Orgmode] Secondary filtering and query editing within daily/weekly agenda

2010-01-23 Thread Brody, William (Buck)
I want to filter my daily/weekly agenda to only show certain tags. The manual
says / will prompt for secondary filtering. When I try it, however, I get a
buffer is read only message. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Buck

[Orgmode] Subscription and first feedback

2010-01-23 Thread Ph . Ivaldi
Hello,

I'm total beginner with Org and I have a little problem.
When writing
 « some french text »
and exporting to LaTeX the
non-breaking spaces are not convert to ~ and the code LaTeX should be
\og{}some french text\fg{} with the package \usepackage[french]{babel}

I have
(seq org-export-latex-packages-alist (quote ((french babel
is in my .emacs.

Note that some text should be exported as some~text but
« some text » should be exported as \og{}some text\fg{}.

Also C-c ^ must be exported as C-c \^

Some advice ?

Thanks,

 latex-mode.
Neiter setting Local Variables at the end to org (mode) does not change this
behaviour nor if set at the beginning of the file.

How about changing the Local Variables: line such that it looks
slightly different to emacs, but means the same to LaTeX?

 Would changing that line to
 %%% Local\ Variables:
 solve your problem?

Yes, that's fine for me; thanks!

Is it possible that you are running an older version of org-mode? You
can type M-x org-version to find out. The current version is 6.34, and I
believe that filtering was introduced in 6.06b.

I can make a variable to turn this automatic fixing of inputenc off, so
that the configured value in org-export-latex-classes will always be
used

Hi,

does anyone know what the status of repo.or.cz is? The website does
not say anything about maintenance anymore, but ssh access is still
blocked, it seems

[Orgmode] Absolute paths in exported files

2010-01-23 Thread andrea
I was exporting an org-file containing relative paths in the format
file:../

In both the pdf and the html the url becomes absolute, I haven't found a
good reason for that in the documentation (they should remain relative
as I understood), any idea?

Org-mode version 6.33trans
GNU Emacs 23.1.50.1 (i386-apple-darwin9.8.0, NS apple-appkit-949.54) of
2009-09-16 on neutron.local

THanks

So looks like there an http too much...

Another very strange thing happened, I have in the file two sources like

and

Now exporting to html or java shows me twice the FIRST code!
If I delete the first one than the second works, any idea of what could
that be?

Hi Carsten

Carsten Dominik carsten.domi...@gmail.com writes:

Yes, that's working. Thank you very much.

 Is this what you have?

I set that function via customize. I think there was only one set og
parenthesis.

I can make a variable to turn this automatic fixing of inputenc off, so
that the configured value in org-export-latex-classes will always be
 used

So, it's not a bug, it'a a feature. At least it should be documented in
a more accessible place. All the predefined export classes contain the
\usepackage[utf8]{inputenc} header. This suggests that having that line
or changing it would have any effect.

Thanks again and greetings,

Sven
