And indeed, I was discussing defaults, since I get a lot of exports from others who don't know about this variable... maybe this should be default behavior?

Hello all, In more documents than not, it seems I see someone do something like foo_bar Common, of course, because most orgmode users are programmers. Of course this results in the super awkward rendering of foo(subscripted:bar).
