Talk from ApacheCon 2002

2003-01-17 Thread Kaare Rasmussen
Hi

I just saw that the talk about Embperl from the ApacheCon 2002 is online
now.

I would like to print it in one swoop and read it at home. Is this possible?

The talk looks great. I've just skimmed it, but I think that it clears up
some of the less documented parts. Thanks.

Re: Dreamweaver MX and Embperl?

2003-01-17 Thread Michael Boudreau
I was able to configure Dreamweaver MS for Mac OS X using the information
from your link below, plus configuration instructions with Dreamweaver, and
it all worked fine: Dreamweaver recognizes the .epl extension, and it hides
embperl code from the WYSIWYG editor. Works great.

Subject: Dreamweaver MX and Embperl?

I'm aware of this extension (http://www.somewhere.com/software/) for
Dreamweaver 3, but has anyone had any success making MX play nicely w/
Embperl? I'm not very familiar w/ Dreamweaver at all, preferring vi
myself, but I can't expect the rest of my team to use vi. I'd
appreciate any tips.  Thanks.

It's in the CVS as pod and will be part of the next Embperl release, you may
get now from here

ok, so Apache::SessionX installation is ok. Do you have any configuration
directives realated to sessions in your httpd.conf. If yes please send them.

There are none.

Do you see any lines starting with SES in your embperl.log file?

None.

The only other thing I can think to add is that, for each attempt, I do see
two rows added to the "sessions" table of the "session" database, but I
don't know how to interpret it:

mysql> select * from sessions where lastchanged >
'2003-01-17';
+--+-++
| id   |
a_session
| lastchanged|
+--+-++
| 6296fed74205b1cdada087a292b96482
|
| 20030117094746 |
| fa38276d2d5258b139e7fa7aa4268be7
|
| 20030117094755 |
+--+-++
2 rows in set (0.01 sec)

mysql> VT102VT102

Notice the two "VT102" strings that appear in the mysql prompt after the
result set. Very weird.
