Re: [Fwd: Who or what is W letter in a circle]

2001-12-11 Thread Patrick Lawler

It would help if you said what the item was that had the symbol.

The german company Wickmann also has a symbol consisting of the letter W in a
circle. They make fuses, fuseholders, and other circuit protection devices.

EU - Proposal for Directive on Energy Efficiency Labelling of ITE & Communications Equipment

2001-12-11 Thread Allen, John

Hi Folks

I came across the following "
Commission Document 501PC0142
"Amended proposal for a Regulation of the European Parliament and of the
Council on a Community Energy Efficiency Labelling Programme For Office and
Communication Technology Equipment" =
http://europa.eu.int/eur-lex/en/com/dat/2001/en_501PC0142.html

Anyone know of any further progress on this proposal, or have any comments?

Regards

Re: IPC TM-650

2001-12-11 Thread Jacob Schanker

Leslie:

The document TM-650 Test Methods Manual is described on the IPC
website as "Contains over 150 industry approved test techniques
and procedures for chemical, mechanical, electrical, and
environmental tests on all forms of printed boards and
connectors."

It can be ordered from the IPC webstore for the nominal charge of
$400.00

See http://www.ipc.org

Sometimes the drafting/PCB types in a company will have a set of
IPC standards hidden from view.

Jack
