US position paper on Harmonics

1999-07-07 Thread Chris Olliffe
Recently I recall someone posting a link to a US position paper about
 the harmonics standard EN61000-3-2.

I have had a look through the back listings in the conference hall but
 I cannot find it.

If someone could point me to it I would be grateful.

 Thanks, in advance.

Subject: EMC Resources on the web

 Hello! Greetings from Orange County!

I am interested in compiling a list of valuable EMC related
resources
available on the web. If you kind guys and gals out there
could address
them to me, I will compile the results and post them for the
group all at
 once.

 Thanks!

Re: TAA and Year 2000 Requir

1997-03-14 Thread Chris Olliffe/Wat/GB/Cray_Communications
Reply to: RETAA and Year 2000 Requirements?

Bob,

You recently posted a reply on this issue saying the following:-

Year 2000 is coming. All product softwares must be compliant with
International Standard ISO 8601 Data Elements and Interchange
Formats-Information Interchange Representation of Dates and Times

Could you tell me what reason you have for saying ..must be compliant.. ?
This seems to infer a mandatory requirement.
I thought that ISO standards were voluntary.?

Has there been some notification regarding the compliance of this standard?

Any information would be gratefully received.

Many thanks
