Infra-red transmission in FCC part15.
Dear all, For an EUT testing under FCC part 15, if one of the communication link is infra-red of 300kHz (or bps),others are RF, do I have to test the laser or infra-red part? If yes, what standard should refer to? Thanks. It is not in the Part 15 rules. It is located in a public notice that is several years old now. Best bet is to contact the FCC OET in Columbia.
