 Patience, Little Grasshoppre, Patience.

What follows is my opinion. Yours might be different.

You misinterpret my meaning, Art, though I was a bit vague.
My pleas for a response were a test, not a cry for help.
If NARTE can't send a canned response to a simple request on
the first contact, the appearance is that they don't have
their act together enough for their certification to be of
much value.

My confidence remains uninspired and I presently doubt that
I'll bother to give NARTE any money to obtain their
certification. I don't need another magazine subscription,
I have enough credit cards and I'm not interested in
purchasing NARTE merchandise, even at a discount.

Perhaps those on the list that have obtained NARTE
certification in another discipline can enlighten me on
other, perhaps less tangible benefits.

RE: NARTE safety engineer certification

2003-07-23 Thread Arthur Michael

Hello Peter,

I believe the plan is to make the official announcement of the NARTE
Product Safety Engineer Cert'n program at the IEEE EMC Symposium
(Boston-August).

Patience, Little Grasshoppre, Patience.

I do agree that the earlier announcement may have been a bit premature
(and perhaps NARTE was overwhelmed by the response).

Best regards, Art Michael

Hi Kurt et al – Happy belated 4th – you were right – a little RR and
visiting a client in West Texas.

I shall be giving a workshop at IEEE Boston and supporting the IEEE Product
Safety Engineering Society and NARTE.

All correspondence sent to grandfat...@eglobaled.org is automatically copied
to NARTE and details of the NARTE certification and grandfathering will be
sent when it is available.

To reduce bandwidth please send ONLY ONCE and do not send to NARTE separately
– otherwise you may receive multiple correspondence.

Thanks and best regards
