Group 1 is correct. Group 2 is for equipment that *is intended to
radiate*, in order to do what it is supposed to do.

Of course, you should inform the supplier about the error in the
Declaration. It may simply be a printing error..

RF amplifier, EN 55011 group I or grroup II

Hi
I jsut received an RF amplifier with an declaration of conformity for the
European market. There the manufacturer declared compliance to EN 55022,
class A, group II

Beside there is no such thing, as EN 55022, class A, group II. Still after
rereading the EN 55011 :2001several times, including the samples given in
the annex I rather would use EN 55011 class A, group I.

So which one is the correct choice, group I or group II
