[Emc-users] Damaged an SSR
I was using an SSR to turn on the spindle on my PCBMill. By mistake I reached over and turned off the switch on the router while it was turned on. When I tried to turn it back on, it no longer worked. I am hoping that I just blew out the SSR and not the 7i76e. I have a spare SSR. Is there any precaution I should take for the future? Re: [Emc-users] Linuxcnc build from scratch on RPi4
Andy, Evidently because I had installed linuxcnc2.9 from Debian, it wouldn’t allow it to be replaced with “an earlier version” linuxcnc2.9.0-pre1. I had to remove linuxcnc2.9-uspace and linuxcnc2.9-uspace-dev, before it would allow me to install the newer built from scratch. [Emc-users] Linuxcnc build from scratch on RPi4
I built linuxcnc 2.9 from scratch on my RPi4-8GB (Debian 12.1) When I tried to install it, it reported that the new install would break the install of Linuxcnc 2.9. Do I have to uninstall 2.9 before I can install the 2.9pre from source? Re: [Emc-users] Wiring Step Dir on KM5056E
Thanks Peter, I had to invert the direction on all of my axises to get it working like it used to. Now I just need to figure out if I was moving them in the correct directions or if I had just gotten used to them being wrong.
