Re: [Emc-users] Default File Directory
On a related topic, *.nc verses *. ngc files. EMC2 finds *.ngc files but not .nc So I have to switch to all files to find my saved file.My CAM program saves as *.nc though last go I remembered and tried saving as *.ngc which did work just fine so that is one way to do it. Any way to tell EMC2 to also find *.nc files along with ngc ? It's just a nuisance at the moment, not a big deal. I create my files on a Windows network desktop. I find it interesting Unbuntu can find a Windows Network but Windows can't see Unbuntu. It would be nice to save directly out to the shop computer in the EMC2 folder but I have to save to shared folder and then at the shop computer go back to the shared folder, copy it and paste into the right folder. At least I have found a way yet. regards Dan On 12/10/2011 10:57 AM, gene heskett wrote: On Saturday, December 10, 2011 01:56:18 PM Dave Christman did opine: Is there a way to change the Default File Directory so when I go to open my files, EMC will go directly to a folder of my choice.
