Also, since you are using a 5i25, the parallel port can be disabled in bios to help the latency numbers if they happen to be bad. For that matter any ports not used can be disabled in bios to improve latency. The Mesa card makes measured latency matter less though as it does the heavy lifting instead of the pc. Someone more experienced could say how bad latency would have to be to interfere with Mesa cards.
