Hmm, so something we should be able to do on any Linux slave.

I was hoping for a real Windows VM to expand the testing to such a setup.

As limited as Travis here. 32 bit need to be fiddled out with ie32-libs
(not even multiarch) and gcc is 4.8 or lower. Seems they are also
running something like Ubunutu 12.04 LTS or some Debian release.

This really clashes with newer dependencies we might need and with newer
tooling we might want to work with. :/

cross compilation : i get all the needed packages from the win-builds
project with wget and I launch autogen.sh with the correct options,
that's all

no windows build slave afaik, but i could ask

How are you getting drone.io to compile for windows? Cross compile with
mingw or do they offer a windows build slave? Are they also offering OSX
and Linux 32 bit slaves?

I have a setup with travis for some testing here. Linux as well as OSX.
While I'm ok with the OSX side (not expecting much here, just a plain
build test) the Linux side is still lacking if I wanted to move towards
it (or at least as an alternative). Their Linux is Ubuntu 12.04 or 14.04
which are both lacking behind. No 32 bit Linux is available, etc

I might need to look into their docker offerings to see if we could make
use of these.

I already set up a mirror a year ago:
