[e-users] Ecore_Ipc Examples available

2005-08-16 Thread Der Lockruf des Kaos
Hi all,

I guess my Callback Stuff of the Ecore_Ipc Stuff is set up the right Way.
My Problem now is, that i don't have much Knowledge about Ecore_Ipc.
Is there an Example how it works:
- Create Server
- Create Client
- Connect Client to Server
- Send Data from Client to Server
- Send Data from Client to Client over Server
- Send Data from Server to Client

Right now i only found http://enlightenment.org/doxy/ecore/; where i can read
the Doxygen Doc.
Unfortunately there is no IPC Example at
http://enlightenment.org/doxy/ecore/examples.html;

Can you give me some Links where i can find such an Example.
Is it much Work to add such an IPC Example to the Doxygen Doc?

Greets,
Christian

The only thing I can see that changed was the weather images. I still

most likely an incopatible version of ecore (too old?) try updating both
epsilon and ecore from cvs and then compiling it. these lines usually
give accurate hints as of where the problem lies:

/usr/local/lib/libecore_con.so: undefined reference to `__ctype_b'
/usr/local/lib/libecore_con.so: undefined reference to `__ctype_tolower'

Re: [e-users] Weather module

2005-08-16 Thread Виктор Кожухаров
\u00b0 is the unicode value of the degree sign (the last X is probably
C).

a quick hack of fixing this is by removing all the if(n)defs in
e_mod_main and leaving ecore to deal with the unicode (actually, the
code between #else and #endif should stay, as well as the char *utf8 on
top). However, this is just a dirty hack, and edje really should be
fixed (or maybe the escape sequence is wrong).

What are the terminals? It says urxvt on the window, but there are 3

Hi!

That's rxvt-unicode. and you have to force pseudo transparency with
Esetroot (part of Eterm)

Hello!

I think that the u in urxvt stands for unicode, so it should be
rxvt-unicode :)
If you want to get fake transparency with E17, you have to use
e17setroot; just
