Hi All, I followed the advice on the howto --> http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_emerge_e17 to add the theme and font name to .gtkrc-2.0 and .gtkrc, it worked once, but on reboot it does not work any more. Any suggestions anyone? On another issue, what has happened to the Clock? It is a boring plain one instead of a nice looking one with a gold surround as per various screenshots ... [e-users] Cannot make an eclair.eap with icon
Hi all, I cannot make an icon for eclair by clicking in the left corner of the title bar, for obvious reasons it doesn't have a titile bar ! Most likely the einfo pointer is NULL. This is usually a sign that
evas was not able to load the module for that engine.

This sounds like another case where it's unable to load the modules
needed (the jpeg loader this time).
Check $prefix/lib/evas and $prefix/lib/imlib2 to be certain the
loaders were installed correctly.

environment, but I have a segmentation fault when I launch it on Nokia

I don't understand why, maybe because of the X11 software engine ?

The function imlib_save_image works
well in PC environment and in scratchbox MAEMO environment, but on the
Nokia770, no file.jpg is created and I don't have any error code in
return.
That's why evas_object_image_file_set return a segmentation fault after.
Any idea to explain why imlib_save_image("file.jpg") creates no file.jpg ? I execute the program in
/home/username on nokia770.

I am using modules on gentoo. most work really fine. when using gentoo portage to install e_modules keep in mind, that you should emerge ALL packages that are related to e17. There seem to be heavy changes in apis that are causing several things not to work befor the changes are applied to that pieces of module code (e17 is under heavy developement ;) If I expirience any problems I normally emerge the whole bunch of e17 "packages" and if that doesn't work, wait a day and do the same again. regards klaus ps. another thing to keep in mind that you should throw the whole configuration ".e directory" away if you doing updates ... some recent module settings seem to crash newer versions...
