[e-users] trying to build E17 with easy_e17.sh on Mandriva 2009 powerpack

I've got a new installation of Mandriva 2009 powerpack and when I try to 
build E17 via easy_e17.sh I get the following error:

../../src/lib/.libs/libepsilon.so: undefined reference to 
`_epsilon_png_write'

Can't figure this one out, anyone have any suggestions?  Thanks.

 Yeah, problems like that seem to come and go.
 Currently I see that problem with pidgin but not with NM (version 0.7.0.99).
 I guess I should try to figure out if it can be fixed in e16 or if   
 the apps are just misbehaving.

If you want more apps to poke at, I tend to see issues with Opera and
occasionally the Screenlets icon not being visible in e16's systray.

Icon drawing becomes problematic when changing icon sizes around a bit too,
no matter what icons are in there..  Maybe the problem is related?   
Turning on base images aggravates the issue when changing the icon  
sizes too.

[e-users] Invalid ELF header

Hi,

I thought I'd like to try out the new systray module, so I've just done
a new svn checkout and recompiled everything from scratch. Everything
compiled and installed without errors, and I trashed my .e directory to
give me a clean environment. Unfortunately, e won't start - the first
run wizard doesn't appear.

I've captured the output from the enlightenment_start command, and I get
invalid ELF header errors from the wizard module - see the console
output from enlightenment_start below.

I've had a quick scan around the net for this error, and not really got
anywhere yet (too many matches from Google). Since it's now time for me
to go to bed, I'm posting here in the hope that some suggestions will
have magically appeared by the morning ;)
