Of course, the only simple problem I did not think of: cache. Clearing cache worked like a charm. [e-users] Icons gone missing
Yesterday after updating my Mageia Cauldron laptop it went down due to a battery failure. After that virtually all icons disappeared and none appear in the settings for Enlightenment (even though they are present in user/share/icons and the installed IceWM DOES see them). I see nothing in journalctl and fsck comes up clean. The packages installed before the crash were: rust-srpm-macros-24-1.mga9.noarch lun 27 feb 2023 10:04:30 python3-qt5-gui-5.15.7-2.mga9.x86_64 lun 27 feb 2023 10:04:30 lib64mfx1-23.1.2-1.mga9.x86_64lun 27 feb 2023 10:04:30 python3-qt5-quick-5.15.7-2.mga9.x86_64lun 27 feb 2023 10:04:29 python3-qt5-qml-5.15.7-2.mga9.x86_64 lun 27 feb 2023 10:04:29 python3-qt5-network-5.15.7-2.mga9.x86_64 lun 27 feb 2023 10:04:29 python3-docs-3.10.10-1.mga9.noarchlun 27 feb 2023 10:04:29 lib64python3-devel-3.10.10-1.mga9.x86_64 lun 27 feb 2023 10:04:29 lib64python3.10-testsuite-3.10.10-1.mga9.x86_64 lun 27 feb 2023 10:04:29 tkinter3-3.10.10-1.mga9.x86_64lun 27 feb 2023 10:04:28 python3-qt5-core-5.15.7-2.mga9.x86_64 lun 27 feb 2023 10:04:28 python3-3.10.10-1.mga9.x86_64 lun 27 feb 2023 10:04:27 lib64python3.10-stdlib-3.10.10-1.mga9.x86_64 lun 27 feb 2023 10:04:27 lib64python3.10-3.10.10-1.mga9.x86_64 lun 27 feb 2023 10:04:27 Any ideas what the problem may be or where more to look? Please return the pipewire-related status to the status indicated by debian. Then reboot, and immediately after boot, do the following and show the results; $ systedmctl --user status pipewire pipewire-pulse wireplumber Following is the output and it's pretty much the same both before reboot and after reboot but before starting E; i was under Gdm, which correctly displays volume control.
