Re: [e-users] Bodhi Linux 3.0.0 Alpha release featuring E19
A combination of a lack of resources and a lack of a need/want for this. My to do list is already fairly long of what I want to get done. Our goal is to provide a functional e desktop, not agonize over what software we use. Re: [e-users] E18 Debs for Wheezy
Packaging python stuff is pretty straight forward. Just extract the release tar and do a dh-make and a dpkg-buildpackage On 1/25/14 16:32 John Holland wrote: I have made debs for Wheezy (latest wheezy, 7.3 - you may need to apt-get upgrade) for E18 etc. Also terminology and econnman, but NOT python-efl. If you want to use econnman you'll have to install the -dev debs for libefl, etc, and install the python-efl from enlightenment.org. (I have done this and it is working well. I just don't know how to package the python stuff yet) If you want to try these debs: Be sure to remove any previous vin-dit entries in sources.list, and the packages for e17 that came from there. (including libembryo1) add to your sources.list: deb http://vin-dit.org/~jholland/newrepo stable main and do and b apt-get install enlightenment apt-get install terminology . Let me know if you have any problems, etc. BTW these are _unsigned_ . apt-get and aptitude (especially aptitude) complain. tell them not to worry. -- CenturyLink Cloud: The Leader in Enterprise Cloud Services.
