I'm getting the same error messages (Slackware 10.1, doodle 0.6.2,
libextractor 0.4.2, for info) However, you can get evidence to build if you
take out doodle (currently I'm autogen.sh'ing with: --disable-doodle
--disable-plugin-extractor

You know, there is an Evidence mailing list. When I had some problems, the
developer responded to me directly. Might be a better bet.
