Hi Mike,

thanks for the quick reply.

Yes, we are using Ubuntu 14.04 - 18.04. The first one is phasing out.

As far as the trusted sites goes, that shouldn't have been enterprise
only and I will be removing it.

As a matter of fact, on Linux, none of this should have been
enterprise only and I will be removing that restriction.

The plan is for Firefox 62 to have all of these changes in.
Unfortunately we had other work so it didn't make it into 61.

We're targeting the rest of the enterprise work for 62/ESR 60.2.
Thats good news! I am not sure if Windows guys will also apply policies
in the future, but if they do I think it will be SSO settings first.

Best regards,
 Thimo

The last item in our autoconfig is the configuration of SSO

non-ESR releases?

I'm looking into this bug.

I assume you have a distribution.ini because you are on Linux?

[Mozilla Enterprise] IE-Tab-V2 Addon working lost with FireFox-ESR-52.8.0

2018-06-21 Thread Laurent Lanoire
Hello, people supporting FireFox ESR 52.8.0 with Addon & Plugin IE TabV2
Enhanced,

After updating to FireFox ESR 52.8.0 our 5 Windows10 PCs weren't able to
open Word files with IE Tab V2 Enhanced Addon & Plugin anymore!

Just one PC that was kept in FireFox ESR version 52.7.3 was still able to
open the Word files with IE Tab V2 Enhanced Addon & Plugin!

During days, I searched differences between our PCs configurations to
correct that!

I even installed back two Windows10 PCs at the FireFox ESR 52.1.0 version
without retrieving the previous working of IE Tab V2 Enhanced Addon &
Plugin!

All of our PCs were operating with the same IE Tab V2 Enhanced Addon
version 6.2.18.1 & Plugin version 2.2.0.1!

Meanwhile, you released the FireFox ESR version 52.8.1 and I installed it
but it didn't fix IE Tab V2.

While comparing IE Tab V2 versions and installations dates, I tried to
install IE Tab V2 last modules available through Mozilla's online catalog.

*Although they had exactly the same version numbers, IE Tab V2 worked
properly again for the first time in weeks!*

I thought that everything was fixed for good but no! This proper IE Tab V2
working is generally lost after the shutdown of these PCs!

Randomly one PC or another keeps his proper IE Tab V2 Addon installation
during 2 consecutive days, no more!

An expert in the Mozilla foundation should be able to diagnose the cause(s)
and help us to recover a permanent installation!

I'm aware that the public version of Firefox doesn't support Addons anymore.

That's the reason why I would appeciate that the people knowing the ESR's
future, inform me on what is planned.

Thanks for your attention and for you to forward this request for
information to the proper persons!

I'm available to describe and test anything useful in order to come back to
efficient work,

Thank you, looking forward to your reply,
