[Enterprise-support] [Question #246344]: Where do I find out how this package was built with ./configure?
New question #246344 on squid in Ubuntu: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/squid/+question/246344 Where do I find out what ./configure options were used when this package was built? [Enterprise-support] [Bug 1261873] Re: [trusty] usershare access denied error (leads to non working nautilus samba sharing)
This bug was fixed in the package samba - 2:4.1.3+dfsg-2ubuntu5 --- samba (2:4.1.3+dfsg-2ubuntu5) trusty; urgency=medium * debian/smb.conf: comment back some of the share definitions options (including valid users). That was an Ubuntu diff and seems to have been dropped in the trusty merge. Those changes seem needed to get the usershare feature working (used by nautilus-share) (lp: #1261873) -- Sebastien Bacher seb...@ubuntu.com Tue, 01 Apr 2014 16:01:04 +0200 ** Changed in: samba (Ubuntu Trusty) Status: In Progress = Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server/Client Support Team, which is subscribed to samba in Ubuntu. Question #246344 on squid in Ubuntu changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/squid/+question/246344 Status: Answered = Open DigiAngel is still having a problem: Thanks Ubfan. I don't think I'm explaining this well, so I'll try again. On 12.0.4...I do: sudo apt-get install squid This installs the squid package. How do I find out how that squid package was ./configure'd? Re: [Enterprise-support] [Question #246344]: Where do I find out how this package was built with ./configure?
Question #246344 on squid in Ubuntu changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/squid/+question/246344 Status: Open = Answered Hamish McIntyre-Bhatty proposed the following answer: AH, you can't do that, except by asking the maintainer how they built it. config.log only exists in the source tree, and is very likely not going to be included in a package, still, you could download the package and open it with an archive manager and browse through it, you might get lucky :) Hamish -- You received this question notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server/Client Support Team, which is an answer contact for squid in Ubuntu. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~enterprise-support Post to : enterprise-support@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~enterprise-support More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
