Thanks for your last update. cifs is indeed provided by the kernel, and mounted via mount.cifs from cifs-utils. Although similar in nature, this is not samba code. Hi Andy, Otto. This was set to expired due to the time it remained inactive in the incomplete state. I am setting this bug back to incomplete so we can keep gathering information on the issue. Would any of you be able to come up with a minimal reproducer we could easily set up with virtual machines?
