[EPEL-devel] intent to upgrade eccodes for epel8 and epel9
Dear all, as pointed out in bz2236797 it would be useful for our users to upgrade the eccodes package. I am not aware of any significant compatibility issues, so if there are no objections I plan to upgrade this package next week. best regards, Jos On 9/1/23 16:20, bugzi...@redhat.com wrote: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2236797 Bug ID: 2236797 Summary: request to upgrade to upstream version 2.31.0 Product: Fedora EPEL Version: epel8 Status: NEW Component: eccodes Assignee: josdek...@gmail.com Reporter: dbranch...@arpae.it QA Contact: extras...@fedoraproject.org CC: josdek...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Classification: Fedora Hi, would it be possible to upgrade eccodes to the last upstream version (2.31.0) for epel8 and epel9? The current version (2.30.0) has some bugs that have been fixed (see https://confluence.ecmwf.int/display/ECC/ecCodes+version+2.31.0+released) and I see that it has already been packaged for F39. Thanks a lot for your work. ___ epel-devel mailing list -- epel-devel@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe send an email to epel-devel-le...@lists.fedoraproject.org Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/epel-devel@lists.fedoraproject.org Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
