I remember these- vaguely.

IIRC, they were a conversion done by a third party (one of the first, I think), 
but either certified by Ford, or sold directly by Ford.

I don’t know the answer to your other questions, but I hope that help.

The VIN number is specific to this, so my guess is the latter.

Azure is long out of business. I still have a brand new electric AC compressor 
setup that came from the Azure bankruptcy auction that I am going to put up for 
sale, hope whoever buys this van wants a spare LOL. Dach.
