Why wouldn't you run the fan all the time the motor is being used, just in 
case?  It doesn't use that much energy compared to the traction circuit.  One 
less thing to go wrong too.

Can you please tell me what a "temp relay" is ? I'm looking for a device
that turns off if where it is placed get hot .

[EVDL] Motor Temp

Does anyone know the max safe operating temp of the Azure AC24L Motor.  The
manual say "Maximum Operation Temperature 55c" but I assume this is ambient
air temp and not the motor.  I have put a temp relay on the case and have a
fan turn on to help cool but do not know at what temp this should come on.
