[Evergreen-general] How to compile Czech localization for eg2 in 3.9.0 tarball?

2022-07-26 Thread Linda Jansová via Evergreen-general

Dear all,

We would like to upgrade our Evergreen installations to the latest
(3.9.0) version but unfortunately it seems that something is wrong with
getting the Czech localization ready for the eg2 part of the staff client.

More information on steps taken so far and errors displayed along the
way is summed up in the following bug:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/+bug/1982887

Any hints as to what can be done to make it work as expected are much
appreciated :-)!

Thank you!

Linda

[Evergreen-general] Bug Squashing Week: Tuesday Update

2022-07-26 Thread Terran McCanna via Evergreen-general
Hey all!

Testing has great momentum so far and 21 patches have been signed off - woo!

Three of the 6 test servers have had their patches fully tested, so they're
being updated with more shiny new patches. Here is the spreadsheet with all
of the test server info:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1uMIU7TolaIc2PHR35g1uonudBLQkI3ED4r5BcCU8Xak/edit#gid=0

Thanks to everyone that has contributed your time and expertise so far. If
you haven't had a chance to do any testing yet, there is still plenty of
time to jump in there!

As always, let me know if you have any questions about how to test or
provide feedback.

Cheers,
Terran

[Evergreen-general] Condition reports

2022-07-26 Thread Terri Moser via Evergreen-general
Can we all try to attach a condition report to a glossy cover that a very
small piece of tape will come off of easily or just put the slip in with
the edge showing -just NOT taped, top and bottom inside the book on the
paper! There is no way to remove this temporary note without damage to the
book.
There was way more damage done to a book we just received in removing the
note than the condition report was reporting!
Please think about how the library on the other end of the transit is going
to remove your note BEFORE you attach it.
Thanks everyone. Circulation is always in the "details" isn't it!
