[Evergreen-general] User Interface Interest Group Meeting: June 6 at 2pm Eastern

 Good afternoon, everyone! I'd like to invite you to the first online
meeting of the UI Interest Group: June 6 at 2pm Eastern. Meeting link:

We will mostly be discussing logistics: how the group should function, how
best to collect data for some of the specific projects we have coming up,
and (most importantly) when to schedule our regular meetings.

[Evergreen-general] 2024 Online Conference Committee - Call for Volunteers

Hello Everyone!

Thank you for your patience in follow-up announcements for the 2024
conference.

Reps from the conference committee and the standing committee met with the
EG Board last week to confirm the vote for an online conference next year.
A date hasn't been selected yet so please keep posted!

This is a call for volunteers interested in joining our conference
committee!  There are many roles you can do as a committee volunteer such
as running our social media, helping with organizing the program schedule,
moderating presentations, creating graphics for announcements, and more!

If interested, please send a reply off list, and I'll get your information
added to the committee email list.  Our first meeting will be Tuesday, June
20 at 12 pm Central/1 pm Eastern.

BTW, I am truly sorry I could not see many of you at the recent EG
conference, but I am slowly watching the conference videos to see some of
what I missed. Coincidently I am currently in the middle of migration to a
new version of Islandora and have been slammed.

[Evergreen-general] Evergreen 3.11 Release Candidate Available for Testing!

The Evergreen Community is pleased to announce the release candidate for 
Evergreen 3.11.  Everyone is encouraged to test the release candidate and 
report any issues on the launchpad bug tracker[1], so that we can make 3.11.0 
the best that it can be!

A full list of new features can be found in the release notes.[2]

The Evergreen Community wishes to thank all those who contributed code, 
testing, documentation and their time to this release. Thanks to all members of 
the community for their hard work to improve Evergreen.
