 Personally, I would like the cosmos to be occupied by evolved, technological, 
minds. If they are here, they may not be close. I am open to evidence, but look 
at all the politicians who would have gotten out of trouble quick by a reveal? 
Johnson, Nixon, Carter, Clinton, Trump, Gorbachev, Yeltsin? That is my counter, 
because it'd end any problems for them.

Apparently Google thinks the future of the company lies not in building
robots but in building robot operating systems, it found a way for large
language models to teach robots how to move and it explains why they sold
Boston Dynamics back in 2017, about the same time google published its
famous paper  Attention Is All You Need
 . The Boston Dynamics robots look
cool when they dance and perform gymnastics but all their movements are
carefully preprogrammed. For robots to become mainstream they need to be
able to move and make appropriate  responses in any environment without
being specifically taught just as human beings do, and now Google thinks it
knows how to do that. If they're right about that then this is a very big
deal.
