Hi,
it's usually better to use evolution-list, than the evolution-hackers
list, as this is more user-related question than anything about code.

Anyway, since 2.23.90 (I guess based on the time of patches commit from
bug [1]) you can setup your GAL to be browseable (in account
preferences), then with limits large enough you should be able to see
all your contacts. Either drag&drop them, or even better right click
over the GAL address book and choose "Save as vCard", and then import
this resulting vCard file to your local address book.

Your way of doing this might work too, though, just do not use advanced
search, (it doesn't seem to be usable with GAL in general) but use just
a simple search on the Name Contains, and choose some very common
latter, like "a" or similar. Though the browsing method with large
enough limit is more appropriate.

Hope that helps,
Milan

Re: [Evolution-hackers] Request for upgrading the minimum sqlite version to the latest stable version 3.6.x

2009-07-21 Thread Chenthill
Hi,
I have been using sqlite-3.6.16 version for around 2 weeks and it
seems to work fine. I have updated the external dependencies page for
gnome 2.27.x with minimum and recommended version of sqlite to be
3.6.16.

The jhbuild moduleset needs to be updated. There is a patch which
modifies configure.ac and configure script to add some options. The
patch for configure script needs to be regenerated for sqlite 3.6.16.

Thanks, Chenthill.
