[Evolution] Face: header handling
Hi, I saw with pleasure that Evo 2.12 handles the Face: header, i.e. it displays the sender's photo if it's there. Great. However, there's a new preference to display the photo from the adressbook (apparently), which when set disables the photo from the Face: header. I think that behavior is wrong. Evo should display the photo from Face: if there's no photo in the adressebook, and should even propose to add it to the addressbook. Should I report a bug ? Since many people today have more then 1 email account and often it's a pop3 account, I'd like to be able to handle them separately. I think it would be such a mess to manage more then 1 pop3 account in the same inbox. Is there already an option in evolution for it or are you planning to develop it? Hi, First thing that came up: Edit, Message Filters, Incoming, Recipient, Contains = [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send it to a Folder for that Account. The filter you want is actually 'Source Account' - then you can move the email to wherever you want. Even if I create a dedicated folder for my pop3 account with a filter to route messages, still I'd have it under On this Computer. Also I can't find the way to change folder for sent messages in the account preferences: I'm running evolution 2.12.0, Edit--Preferences--Mail Accounts--mypop3account . Edit--Preferences--Mail Accounts--mypop3account - Default tab. .Alejandro Cheers Max 2007/9/27, Bonilla, Alejandro [EMAIL PROTECTED]: On Tue, 2007-09-25 at 15:20 +, Massimo Gagliasso wrote: Hi, I've just tried to configure more then 1 pop3 account and I've noticed that evolution doesn't give you the possibility to choose if to place pop3 mails in the global inbox or in a separate inbox tree (thunderbird has that option). I guess some Mailing Lists and PDL's will be the exception of the rule but then you might have a folder for each of those? In the Account Preferences, in the Default tab you can change the Folder of the sent messages from that account. .Alejandro Thank you Max ___ Evolution-list mailing list Evolution-list@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list

Re: [Evolution] Where is the message status information stored?

I'm using an IMAP server, but I believe that only the mark as important is saved to the server (as a status of flagged). Can anyone confirm this, or set me straight about what information is kept on the imap server by evolution. Somebody can answer this more definitively, but I would say that that information is not stored on the IMAP server. My basis is that the server is MUA-independent by design. So if I want to access the same IMAP folders with Evolution/Kmail/Thunderbird/mutt, the different indexing systems will not conflict with each other. I think the follow up flag would be stored in the indexes. -- Art Alexion Resources for Human Development, Inc. 215-951-0300 x3075 4700 Wissahickon Ave. [EMAIL PROTECTED] Philadelphia, PA 19144www.rhd.org signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part ___ Evolution-list mailing list Evolution-list@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list
