[Evolution] Evolution 3.44.2 editor not handling HTML<>Plain Text properly
Evo was just updated today on Mageia Cauldron and is not handling the move between Plain Text and HTML properly. I have opened a bug report there, but as this may be an upstream problem, wanted to enquire here. In prior versions (through 3.44.1) of Evolution it was possible to have the basic message style set to Plain Text and either respond to or forward in-line an HTML message in plain text or to recover HTML formatting when responding. Now HTML formatting commands are converted to plain text and shown rather than suppressed. The formatting is not recoverable if switching the response/forwarded message to HTML. Here is a snippet of an affected message: { .mediumStoryBlock .leftColumnContent{ width:290px !important; } } @media only screen and (min-width: 601px){ .storePromo .templateColumnContainer{ padding-bottom:0 !important; } } @media only screen and (min-width: 601px){ .storePromo .leftColumnContent{ padding:15px 20px 5px !important; } } @media only screen and (min- width: 601px){ .storePromo .column-title{ font-size:18px !important; } } @media only screen and (max-width: 600px){ .sponsorContentBlock{ padding-left:10px !important; padding-right:10px !important; } } Number One, Again May 27th, 2022 / View in your browser This week, our Top 5 sets an important and particularly sobering precedent. There are only two calendar sources shown: Birthdays and anniversaries in "Contactos" and Personal in "On this computer". The holidays come from the latter and show no URL (not for the Spanish Constitution Day or Spanish or US Christmas [shown for the 24th]). And, for what it is worth, there is no file in the .config/goa-1.0 folder. If you click the download button on an attached photo, the popup offers the possibility of viewing it or all attached photos inline (in the attachment pane, not the message pane) where you can scroll through them. I have not tested to see what it does with mixed attachments (e.g., images and text documents), but it works really nicely with photos -- and is something I had not noticed until I read your question! Sorry, but it seems to be a new feature in 3.40 as I just checked my Mageia 8 machine, so you basic options are to wait for Mageia 9 or try the flatpak version of Evo. [Evolution] Unable to print to file
I am sure I have done this in the past, but at the moment I am unable to print to a file (pdf, postscript, svg - does not matter) in either 3.40.1 (Mageia 9) or 3.38.3 (Mageia 8), both from rpm packages. In both cases a message appears saying that the file or directory does not exist. Even creating an empty file to be overwritten produces the same message. In Evo 3.40 there is a suggestion that perhaps other options need to be chosen, but I don't see anything in the configuration that might affect this. What am I/Mageia/Evo doing wrong?
