Re: [Evolution] [Evolution-EWS] Can't send message
[cut] Well, my admin said that there is no proxy, and my request are redirected via IIS directly to Exchange 2007 SP1. So far I can only read mail via RPC over HTTP, but can't send it. Many thanks for the answer. Since you were able to connect via RPC over HTTP, it is motivation for me to keep trying to connect. If you do not mind I'll bother you off the list for more help? -- Patryk LeadMan Benderz Linux Registered User #377521 () ascii ribbon campaign - against html e-mail /\ www.asciiribbon.org - against proprietary attachments ___ evolution-list mailing list evolution-list@gnome.org To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list

Were you able to solve the sending problem? I have run into the same issue. On 26 October 2011 06:39, Artur Flinta afli...@gmail.com wrote: Hi Patryk! Does big/small letters in user name make any difference? I don't *think* so. And last but, not least... is evolution-ews supported with Exchange 2007 SP1, or only 2010? Yes, it should support 2007SP1 (but not 2007 iirc, since that was just *too* broken with UIDs in calendar items). -- dwmw2 smime.p7s Description: S/MIME cryptographic signature ___ evolution-list mailing list evolution-list@gnome.org To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list

Hm. Run Evolution from a command prompt with EWS_DEBUG=2 set in the environment, and it will dump all its EWS traffic. Try to send a message, and you'll see exactly what it's trying to do. Can you show me the request where it tries to send the message, and the response? Then perhaps we can try some variants until the server accepts it... it's easier to muck around with the request in an editor and submit it with 'curl' than it is to screw with Evo's settings and keep retrying, especially since Evolution is so bad at updated settings and often needs restarting to change things. -- dwmw2 smime.p7s Description: S/MIME cryptographic signature ___ evolution-list mailing list evolution-list@gnome.org To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list

I don't think it's that username which is the problem. If that were wrong, I don't think you'd be able to log in and read your email at all. The problem is that Exchange doesn't like the email address you have configured the account with. It's a bit stupid like that. Is it possible that there's some variant of firstname.lastn...@mycompany.pl which it *does* accept? [Evolution] [Evolution-EWS] Can't send message
Hi! I've just compiled from git and installed latest evolution-ews add-on. First configuration step was easy, I've just entered my email address (firstname.lastname at mycompany.pl), hit fetch URL button and URL field have been automatically populated. Now I'm able to read my company e-mails. So far so good :) But, when I've replied to e-mail and hit send button, then get error: The user account which was used to submit this request does not have the right to send mail on behalf of the specified sending account. I've read on one thread (from May) that this error can be caused by mail aliases, but my e-mail is real user name, I have domain account mycompany\firstname.lastname and my mailbox firstname.lastname is connected with it. Any suggestions or help? ps. I'm using Fedora 16 (beta, evolution 3.2.0) Regards Artur -- Każdy problem ma swoje rozwiązanie, zatem jeżeli nie ma rozwiązania to nie ma problemu. ___ evolution-list mailing list evolution-list@gnome.org To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list
