*Job Title*: Senior Web System Analyst *No. of Positions*: 1 *Duration*: 6 Months contract *Location*: Newport Beach, CA *Hours Per Week*: 40 *Description:* · Primary responsibilities include working with internal marketing and communications teams to gather requirements and design specification for websites. · Develop functional requirements specifications document which includes all technicalities regarding a web development project. · Additional responsibilities include daily production support including tracking, troubleshooting and resolving production issues in a timely manner. · The Analyst has the opportunity to take further responsibility within all phases of a web development project by identifying new areas where Sitecore or SharePoint can be leveraged to manage content for our web projects, help formulate the solutions, and ensure the project team adoption to the solution. *Duties and Responsibilities:* · Partner with internal marketing and communications teams to define business requirements and design specification for websites. · Work with technical teams to develop solution in content management system with integrations with back-end core technology systems. · Develop functional / technical documentation for business and technical team respectively for sign-off before implementation. Technical documentations would need to cover user stories, acceptance criteria and wireframes. · Evaluate and prioritize development tasks for delivery to business in a professional and timely manner. · Test and ensure all functionalities developed meet technical and functional requirements. · Enter work items to a bug tracking system. Track, troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner. · Prepare release notes and lessons learned documents to share with clients for every major production release. · Establish new processes to support business with repeated tasks. · Provide end user training to individuals or groups. *Qualifications:* *Required Skills:* · 5+ years’ experience as an analyst for a large web development project preferably using Content Management System (CMS) such as Sitecore, SharePoint. · 5+ years’ experience in production system support, managing day-to-day operational task of a web project. · Experience on bug tracking system like JIRA · Knowledge of website designs, specifications, wireframes, and prototypes. · Strong analytics background with emphases on social media marketing. · Experience with Social Media · Experience with web analytics packages such as Google Analytics, Web Trends, Sitecore DMS, etc. · Experience with email marketing solutions such as Exact Target, Mail Chimp, Constant Contact, etc. · Good understanding of SEO best practices to assist digital marketing team with site and campaign optimization to improve search engine rankings. · Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. · Ability to work closely with the project stakeholders and the technical teams in a fast paced environment and meet tight deadlines. · Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. · Must be self-started and very driven with assignments. · Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience. *Desired Skills:* · Advanced knowledge of Sitecore or SharePoint 2010 and ability to customize Sitecore/SharePoint out-of-box features using admin capabilities. · Knowledge of web technologies including CMS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, XSLT, Web Services, .Net Framework, basic SQL, etc. is a plus. · QA background is a plus. · Understanding of SDLC Methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.) is strongly preferred financial services experience a plus, but not required.
