Responsibilities:

The Services specialist will work with the SOA Service Discipline team to
implement enterprise wide service in support of projects and application
development.  The candidate will perform the following tasks:

.                     Coordinate the efforts of the Service Discipline team.


.                     Develop and operationalize Release Management for
Service Discipline assets.  

.                     Develop Service Level Agreement metrics and goals for
the Service Discipline. 

.                     Participate in process flow analysis and SOA centric
process redesign along with the project team discovering, validating,
documenting and communicating the organization's services requirements.  

.                     Identify issues and risks found in the mapping of
existing and proposed services to an enterprise services methodology. 

.                     Provide operational production procedures, plans, and
training support 

.                     Create and Lead training sessions and classes for
knowledge sharing. 

.                     Help plan and coordinate UAT and performance testing. 

.                     Help create and author plans, policies, procedures,
and governance for enterprise wide services. 

.                     Communicate to stakeholder of any changes and
upgrades. 

.                     Seek approval of any proposed variation to existing
services architecture with the Enterprise Architecture and Infrastructure
teams. 

 

Skills Needed

Experience working in a mature Service Oriented Architecture environment.
Required             5              Years

Web service design and development experience using BizTalk.  Required
3              Years

Experience with data management/ETL tools (such as MS-SQL SSIS, Informatica
or others)             Required                              

Experience tracking SOA service assets through the release cycle
Required                             

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a diversified
workload         Required                             

Strong problem solving, troubleshooting skills including ability to perform
root cause analysis for preventative analysis                Required


Strong verbal and written communication skills  Required
