Hi Ashish,

You won't face any version clash issue after installing Office 2010.
Installing process will offer you to keep your previous version of Office.
However the Outlook will be upgraded.

Subject: $$Excel-Macros$$ Multiple Versions of Excel

Hello

I currently have installed Excel 2003 on my machine. However would also like
to install 2010 now. If I change the default destination path, will it
create any problems? Will I be easily able to open any excel file without
any "Version Clash issues"

I understand that very recently, someone suggested on this forum that
multiple versions can be installed. Has anyone ever faced any "Version
Clash" issues before?

Re: $$Excel-Macros$$ Re: Pls tell me more about Areas Property of the Range

2012-07-29 Thread Sam Mathai Chacko
Prince,

I missed the part about selecting to contiguous cell groups. And come to
think of it, it doesn't necessarily have to be non-empty.

Try this

Sub T()

Dim rngCluster As Range
Dim rng As Range

Set rngCluster = Application.Union(Range("A1:C3"), Range("D5:E10"))
MsgBox rngCluster.Areas.Count
For Each obj In rngCluster.Areas
MsgBox obj.Address
Next obj

End Sub

$$Excel-Macros$$ Re: Workdays formula help required

2012-07-29 Thread Prince Dubey
Hi Vikram,

The Workday() function return the next working day after the specified no
of days it excludes the weekends and the days you have specified as the
holidays.

for example if i write: =WORKDAY(DATEVALUE("11/1/2012"),10) the will return
11/15/2012 because there will be weekends on 3,4 and 10 ,11 nov.

And also pls note:

Dates should be entered by using the DATE function
A positive value for days yields a future date; a negative value yields a
past date.
Prince dubey

Hope this will help you .
