$$Excel-Macros$$ Need some help with sports related vba macro, sample file attached

2016-03-06 Thread miscjh
In the attached sample, which is only a snippet of a large worksheet, the
goal is to have the player name with his total MLB stats for the season and
the current team name. So in a nutshell, the first occurence of the player
name is row i need, but I have to replace the string "TOT" with the team
name in the last occurence of the player name. And delete all other rows
with the matching player name

One problem that occurs in the data set is that two or more players may
have the same name. So my thinking was Col B (Name) and Col C (Age) could
be used as a reference.

It's hard to verbalize this and I'm probably making it more complicated
than it needs to be.

Thanks in advance for any help offered

$$Excel-Macros$$ CONDITIONAL FORMAT & SOME BREAK OF CELL IN THE NEXT LINE

2016-03-06 Thread big smile
Hello Friends
In the attached file I want the conditional formating
based on the two conditions
1] Which is if f5 cells falls within 15 days then
all cell from a5 to g5 become yellow
which is at present working
I want that this condition work only
IF cell k5 is only " INF"
If there is some thing in k5
EX ---> Yes ,can,etcthen
Conditional format should not activate
so what to add in present formula
2] I am making some wording with formula
to send reminder to my clients
which is given in cell b
Ex -- cell b8
I have copy that formula in B11
which shows how it looks at present
But I want that same wording in style -- in B14
After - dash
they should come in next line of same cell
The purpose is it looks nice when
I copy & past to email or wts up
or sms
If possible can I have in formula pattern
& not in module or macro .
So that I can change wording/ formula
at any time
Thanks in advance
