Dear Sir

I have downloaded a file from the net but unable to understand the logic in
column Q AND R as the file is read only only so can anyone say me how that
delay had been calculated and interest is calculated...

Dear Brothers

I am facing problem in the matter of Format borders as i have excel sheet
containing many rows and columns and i have to give border each column
manually so its takes a lot of time. is there any way by which we can copy
only border format in other columns as i have tried paste special but that
takes format words and no. also and i only want to copy the border line.In
the attached sheet i have format the column H and need same border in other
columns without changing the format of words and nos. .

I want to Know about the formula to calculate the installment amount:


If loan amount is :  10/-

Years:  3Years

Rate of Interest   : 14.50% P.A.

Mode of Insallment :Monthly.


1)What will be the installment amount . Pls suggest by formula

2) If we Know the installment amount and rate of interst is not known to us
then how can we calculate the Interest rate.?

3) If we Know both about the Rate and Insallment then how can i prepare the
loan chart for years  to know the total interest.

Dear Members,

Thanks for your valuable support. I have an querry in which i have to check
interest calculation for banks.

Me attaching a sheet in which column A have date that is in different
format. and in column B the balance as on the respective dates.

As the bank charges interest on the closing balance for particular dates. So
there are many balances as on the same date.

What i need first that the date should be in format of dd-mmm-yy and
secondly like there are many balances of 1st june so i need only the closing
balance of 1st june and so on. it means last line that is in 1st june this i
have to do for all dates.

can anyone help me as this is more time taking without proper direction.

I have a query regarding conditional formating:

1. I have a sheet in which some cells containg amounts out of those some
cells are coloured.

Is there any way to coloured only those coloured cells. One way i have by
filter on the basis of colour but everytime to use that is hectic so can we
use any formula on that.

I have joined this group for my development and i have learnt a lot from
here.
Really this is group is one of the best groups to learn for going ahead. I m
an accounting person and i have to give my top management many type of
reports like fund position,debtors,creditors,sales,purchase etc.on daily mis
basis. Does any body have such format of reports in excel so that i can
prepare reports more logically and efficiently in less time. I know that
here are many big person have such reports pls help me and provide the
formats of such reports containg linking and formulas. So that i can get a
chance for my future.
Hope all will help  me.The example of reports are balance sheet ,profit and
loss,debtors and creditors . i want to combine all this in a combine sheet .

I want to also make these sheets traceable. means those persons who have
accessed that sheeet and what changes they have made.Now i think u can
understand what i need i need some great reports formats like connection
sheet. etc.
