Blank Emails
There was a thread on this last week about blank emails, and I didn't think anything of it (actually I think I only read a few), but today one of my users received 2 emails that were completely blank. 1 was from Ivan with the subject Your Password and the other was from dloup with the subject Introduction to ADSL . This isn't KLEZ is it? Regards, Dave J. Savittiere Doyle Land Services, Inc. 880 Commerce Road W. Outlook 2000: Address Books and Distribution Lists
My client has a contacts folder that is constantly growing, right now there are about 2500 contacts listed. He would like to create a distribution list to send a mass email, but does not want to select each contact (individually) to be a member as there are too many of them. I need to know if there is a way to (without changing each individual contact) globally create a DL of these contacts but only grab the contacts that have email addresses while omitting the business fax numbers that may also be associated with a contact. There's another workaround by modifying a jsp page which I believe can be found in the groups.google.com archives. -Original Message- From: Dave J. Savittiere [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, May 09, 2002 8:17 AM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: RE: OWA and Public Folders I'm sorry, yes E2K but SP1. In my public folders, I have a contacts list that was created with an Outlook (desktop) custom form and I had read that SP2 would display them as posts, thus hiding the contents. Now, I don't care if the custom fields are available in OWA, only the contact info. Last night I tried http://servername/public, and was able to see everything I need, but it was just the public folders and not my mailbox. I want my users to be able to go to http://servername/exchange and log into their mailbox AND view the public folders from the one URL. I can't seem to make it when coming in from the internet. Any suggestions? Regards, Dave J. Savittiere Doyle Land Services, Inc. 880 Commerce Road W. I get an error that the browser security settings are incorrect. I thought I had changed the security settings appropriately, but apparently not. Also, are there certain ports that need to be open on my firewall for OWA? If so, which ones? Any help is greatly appreciated.
